KIDS PROGRAMMES
(from 4+ Years)
MARTIAL ARTS DEVELOPS THE WHOLE CHILD.
Our Little and Junior I-Kickers programmes are specially designed Martial Arts development classes for children between 4-6 years and 7-9 years of age. They have been created to help instil confidence, discipline, focus and valuable life skills as well as enhancing your child’s fitness levels and and motor skills. This is achieved through sport-specific activities, exercises, games and drills taught by our team of world class Instructors.

The best way for your child to learn is through having fun. With our programmes your son/daughter is guaranteed to enjoy themself in each and every class! At all times they are subconsciously learning a variety of skills that will help develop them into a well-rounded young boy or girl, better equipped to adapt to school, new challenges and some of the things life may ‘throw’ at them as they begin to grow and mature.
Martial Arts training is one of the best activities to help develop your child's levels of general physical preparedness as it incorporates all components of fitness and a variety of different functional movements.
Your little one will be active from their first class but will also be stimulated mentally and emotionally too in a positive, safe environment to help them learn and grow.
Our programmes focus on developing the whole child; physically, mentally and emotionally.
Martial Arts isn't your average sport or activity, it offers so much more!
Martial Arts is a lifestyle activity and an incredible gateway to self-improvement.
Every parent wants what's best for their child and our programmes help to deliver and reinforce those values. Much like swimming, Martial Arts is an essential life skill that, in our opinion, everyone should try.

A JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP.
LEARN THROUGH HAVING FUN.
Our programmes are based on the Korean Martial Art of Taekwon-do, western Kickboxing and also incorporates some basic grappling and self-defence techniques too. These are used as a tool to promote physical fitness, enhance your child’s motor skills and introduce them to the fundamentals of Martial Arts. First and foremost, we do not in any way promote violence. In fact, we do quite the opposite. We teach your child to understand the difference between right and wrong and develop control over their physicality and emotional state by following the the tenets of Martial Arts.
As well as learning moves and techniques, your child will also be taught many key life skills including; building confidence, stranger danger, coping with bully behaviour, asserting themselves, working with others, keeping safe and how to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.
These programmes are more than just an activity; they are the start of a journey. Your child will ripen important skills at such a crucial age in their development that they will take with them through the rest of their childhood, teenage and adult life. Our programmes help your child build the foundations from which they can grow to become the best version of themself.
Being confident, articulate and assertive are key life skills that will help your child to achieve their ambitions, open doors for them and help them grasp opportunities that many others may let pass them by. Before the age of 10 is when children form their personalities and traits that they will take with them through the rest of their life. Using a unique programme, like these, gives them that extra aid to ensure they form the right characteristics.
CONFIDENCE IS A SUPER POWER.
REWARDS
The ranking system follows a similar route to the Martial Arts of Taekwon-do & Kickboxing, but in a more simplistic format relevant to these age groups. When first starting, your child will begin at White Belt, with the opportunity to progress through the ranks, obtaining a new coloured stripe or striped belt each time they test.
PROGRESS TRACKING
Upon joining the club, all of our Little & Junior I-Kickers students receive a student handbook that is used to help track and monitor things such as; attendance, effort & attitude towards their training and their general behaviour in the class. It also contains lots of useful notes to help them practice and develop their Martial Arts knowledge and skills at home too.

If students are doing well with all of the aforementioned attributes, then they are rewarded with a gold star in their hand book. Once the students reach a milestone mark in their book, they receive a special award to recognise their achievement.
